Liverpool wedding photography at The Shankly Hotel, Liverpool. With Elizabeth & James 😍

Updated: Jun 26, 2023

On the 26th of March 2022 we photographed super cool wedding of Elizabeth & James in The Shankly Hotel, Liverpool. After so many months of waiting they finally said “I do” to each other and the party started.

We can’t be more happy for both of them. Here is a their little story ...

Liverpool wedding photography

We first met when we were both 16 years old in college, at first, we both found each other a little annoying but here we are nearly 10 years later as husband and wife.

James proposed in 2019 in sunny Mexico, he organised a little trip along a private little river and before I knew it, we were ENGAGED.

When we first sat down, spoke about our wedding day, and started to get some ideas of the kind of day we wanted our focus was Family. We chose to get married in St.Anns church in Rainhill as this was James family church, his nan and grandad got married here and so did his mum and dad. Sadly due to James losing his grandad the year we were engaged we wanted to make sure that James grandad was with us on our special day in some way and getting married here was the easiest decision that we had to make for the whole wedding!

Next, we went to view the Garden of Eden in The Shankly hotel and our hearts was so full, the first venue we viewed and both fell in love.

Due to Covid our special day had to be postponed and the celebrations were put on hold.

When the day finally come emotions was very high and the excitement of becoming Husband and Wife was overwhelming.

Our day was amazing, we was surrounded by all of our friends and family and it felt so much more special due to this being the first time we had all been together since Covid. We both had the biggest smiles on our face from start to finish and our day was everything we dreamed of and so much more.

When we first arrived at The Shankly Hotel we had a moment alone and just stood there looking at each other smiling, we could not believe we were finally Mr and Mrs Hinton-Jones.

Once joining all our guests on the terrace we got to start enjoying our day as all the hard parts was done that we were so nervous about, the smiles on both of our faces said it all, we then went on to have our wedding breakfast followed by an evening with plenty of dancing and everyone laughing and smiling.

Our day was full of love and laughter and we were so grateful for every part of our special day.

Nearly 10 years later after meeting in college and are continuing to fall in love with each other more and more every day!

Top Tip – Just relax and try to enjoy every minute of the day as it goes so FAST!
