After nearly two months, I finally have enough time to share the incredible wedding of Eileen and Paul. It was truly unforgettable. The thought of it always brings a big smile to my face. Here is a short story written by Eileen:
Paul & I met in 1991 when we were both teenagers, we were drawn to each other from the very first time we met.
At first, we were just friends and as time went by we discovered that we were attracted to each other and were compatible in so many ways.
It was not until New Year's Eve 1993 that we shared our first kiss and neither of us have looked back since. We became ‘boyfriend & girlfriend and dated throughout our teenage years into our twenties. Paul proposed in 2002 and we were in no rush to get married as we already knew we were committed to each other, we moved in together not long after and in 2003 we had our first daughter.
Life was hectic with a baby and all plans of a wedding got put on hold and we agreed we would think about planning our wedding at a later date, a few years later we bought our first home and then not long later our second child was born.
It wasn’t until March 2024 when we were on a night out with my brother and his partner that the subject of marriage came up again and that night we made the decision to finally tie the knot.
As we had waited so long we wanted to get the date booked as soon as possible so after viewing a few venues we chose The Village Hotel in Whiston for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening celebration and they were amazing from start to finish.
We had a wonderful day surrounded by our close family & friends and couldn’t have wished for it to have been any better. The hotel staff were fab and KrysPolkino Photography was amazing! We have just received our wedding photos and I am over the moon with how Krys has captured the day.
