I met Joanne and Carl in the last weekend of March. We were very lucky with the weather. The sun was turning everything into bloomy and wonderful place. The light was just great and we had a lot of fun and laughter. Here are a few of my favourites from Joanne and Carl’s spring engagement session. Their wedding is coming super soon so watch out for this one on my blog :)
One day I was invited to take a part in the promotional wedding photography session with the Pure Management. I had a very good time with them and we were working really hard to get as much as we could from the place we were. Models, MUA and dress designers were all working very hard to deliver the best results possible. I am so glad to be involved in the project. Hope to do more like this ones more in the near future. Meanwhile please have a look at some images from that day and leave us some comments :)
Not long time ago I was asked to photograph the wedding of Vanesa and Szymon. It was a very special wedding to me as I know both of them for quite some time. Both of them looked fantastic and despite cold wind we visited quite few places that day. I am so glad that I've been involved in their special day. Here are just a small selection of images from it.
I wish them a wonderful life together as they head down the road to married happiness. So happy for you, Vanesa & Szymon.
So I decided to challenge myself and take one photo everyday for the next 30 days. Well.. what is the challenge you might ask? Hmm.. good question, I don't really know but I decided to go for it :) I thought it'll be my personal project. No planning. Just pure everyday images. Let's start.
Day One: Mariam.
Newsham Park. I spoted her feeding pigeons and squirrels. We had a good half an hour conversation. She is there almost everyday and she loves it. I couldn't resist and took a few images of her.
I didn't plan to photograph this event. It was just pure accident. I was going to see something different when this happened….
Fundraisers got down and dirty this weekend in the Sefton Park Splash Dash to raise money for a children’s charity.
Everyone from keen runners to amateur athletes took part in the Splash Dash on Saturday, which saw participants run 5km while getting splashed with paint.
The first feet crossed the start line around midday and the white t-shirts worn by the runners were pelted with paint powder at various points around the course.
The colourful runners got messy in the Park to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The Wirral charity, which is based in Bebington, support and cares for families whose [...]
Choosing a wedding photographer is a big decision. The photos you have are all you’ll take away to remember what will be one of the most special moments in your life.
I think there are two key ingredients to choosing the right North West wedding photographer for you.
1. The style of the photos. Choose someone whose photos you look at and think “I want wedding photos like that!”
2. How well you get on with them. This is why I’m always happy to meet you face-to-face. Your photographer is with you all day and it’s worth having someone who you feel relaxed around, who you can imagine interacting with your family and friends, and most of all someone you like.
Once we've decided on location, a typical session will last about 1 - 2 hours. During our time together, I will get you comfortable with the idea of begin photographed. I'll make you laugh, I'll make you smile, I'll make you do silly dance moves. Just kidding. Maybe. It's meant to be fun and it is. And that's what I try to capture. Sure, there can be "poses", but I'm trying to capture the real moments in your interaction and that natural smile that comes after laugh. We will experiment. We'll play with the immediate surroundings and the available light and try to get your personalities to come through. Sometimes I'll really like a particular spot and we'll stay a little longer there to get [...]
There are many people who ask me: "What is it, this engagement session"? Well, because there is some confusion about it, I've decided to explain a little bit more about the whole idea..
You've probably seen it in the bridal magazines, the wedding blogs, on Pintrest or Facebook. Two people kissing each other, holding hands, pulling faces at each other and so on and so forth. In the photography industry it's called engagement session but it's more about a chance for a professional photographer to bee able to capture two people in love - without all the pressure and others people's eyes. More than that, it's an opportunity for the couple to get to know their photographer, see how he or she works, and find [...]
