A while ago, I finally managed to meet Kasia & Kyle. Inspired by short movie ( link below ) about best #instagram places in Liverpool, I decided to follow its advice and visit few places with this lovely couple. We were very lucky to have a beautiful weather and gorgeous sunset thanks to what there was a fantastic, soft and warm light. In addition, all main attractions were not overcrowded which simply, just everything you wish for as a wedding photographer. Hope you will enjoy this set of images. The idea of photographing “ my ten best places in Liverpool” was growing in me for a long long time. Like with any other project it take me quite some time to crystallise it and create to certain standards. I was looking on the internet for inspirational images but most of the time I couldn’t find anything what would inspire me so I decided to take things in my own hands and create images of the places which I think are the best to see and photograph while visiting Liverpool.

For a long time I wanted to share this simple idea. I have to say it is not something I invented - it was probably created long long time ago by some very creative people. I call it hole in the reflector.

Thinking how to simplify best light solution for portraits photography, especially head shots, I came across this simple idea of cutting the rectangle in my big 5 in 1 reflector. There are hundreds of portrait light modifiers, I thought, but surely this is the simplest and the best lighting by far.
